Joe

I actually want non-unique records, so duplicates. Is there a way to filter for duplicates using this method?
I'm a bit against this method as an end user who I'm not confident will remember to manually refresh to sheet will be using this in the end. Surely a CountIf should function on the sheet without hanging, right? Somehow?
@Varaquilex only users who haven't read the Windows Internals Book, like ElectronicGeek who downvoted the only correct answer, say that this is ok. Windows Internals stuff is rocket science and such users simply have **NO** knowledge and because of this they post and vote completely nonsense. You have a driver leak which you should fix and everything will be fine again.
@ElectronicGeek buy and read this book (Chaptor 10) before posting wrong things: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963901.aspx 4.5 GB in paged pool is way too much for a normal system. Your downvoting only shows me that you really have **no idea** what you talk about *facepalm* Shame on you.
Dammid. Didn't see that. Thanks
Standby doesn't slowdown the PC, it makes it **FASTER**. If you have slowdowns, they come from something else.
Just ran into this problem. What a joke. Thanks
What happens if they never open it and you manually download and open the version which you uploaded to DropBox? Or better yet, upload yours to dropbox, have the person retrieve it from dropbox, and email it to you, what would happen?
Yes, the corrupt files are the same length as the correctly downloaded one.
Is one of the folders/files below that particular folder owned by another user/group? Then he would not be allowed to change the permissions recursively.
Please add the type of router, review the copy of your hosts file and also check your dns settings.
This is quite embarassing but it seems my laptop has nor a hardware switch nor a BIOS option to turn the wifi off. I'm tempted to open a new question about this. (The machine is a Samsung NP-RV511 by the way).
What exactly do you consider "high level" network connections?
I was thinking that, because I got that error when I tried to recreate it on one of my own folders, but he never received an error message. It's almost like the server he's connected to isn't receiving all the instructions.
Updated it for current version, based on @JoeNahmias sample, but seems that I can't fully read the variables in the code or create a temp incremental value within the loop (Prompting for next numbered CD...).
Most importantly though, the 'Set FileName=%PathName%\%BookName% CD%%N.mp3' line comes out blank...
Updated my original code and put comments on what isn't working.
What OS are you referring to?
You should be able to get to the bios settings with the F2 key as stated here: http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber/popup/iframe/pop_troubleshooting_fr.jsp?idx=166758&modelname=NP-RV511I&modelcode=NP-RV511-A01US&session_id=&from_osc=
Good job. I'll remove the comment now...
As a user, you will likely notice that most users who deal with huge workbooks with large amounts of calculations would go insane if they didn't have Manual Calculations turned on. Your productivity increases because otherwise, you have to wait for calculation times as you're working. When you need data refreshed, you often just refresh the worksheet (or even range) that you're interested in. It's a necessary evil, and you quickly get used to it.
@Ramhound, that's incorrect. There are many reasons that it could fail without active filtering. See Sammich's answer and response.
What did you expect Google Maps to do without javascript?
Regardless, have you tried this method to see if it's causing the issue?
Of course, I do manage to get into the BIOS setup, but once there I can't find any option to turn off the wifi.
Great, this is exactly what it was! How weird. Also didn't realise you could only see 'Open Files and Ports' when the process was in action. I always killed it and then looked at the popup!
The key problem is driver: `driver=nl80211`. I'm not sure that iwl4965 compatible with nl80211. I catch an error: `nl80211: Could not configure driver mode nl80211 driver initialization failed.`
Ah, I didn't realize there were software solutions to this nowadays. Thanks. I also found an article talking about this at http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/why-you-no-longer-need-a-kvm-switch-for-your-multi-pc-setup/ Thanks a lot
Are the low battery and reserve battery level warnings even different? Whats more likely is your battery is discharging from say 11% to 7%. Are you using the OEM software to manage the charge or just windows?
1. Can you make TCP connections on the local network? For instance, can you load your home gateway's web admin UI in a web browser? 2. If you can ping a certain Internet host, try pinging it with full-sized frames and with the "Don't Fragment" bit set, in case there's an MTU problem where small frames are getting through, but full-sized frames are getting dropped. 3. Are other computers on the same network able to use the Internet fine?
@barlop Uh, I don't believe that you're quite clear on my situation. I did the reorganization after my Internet went out. So, the copy on the Dropbox servers is the unorganized one.
@Zoredache, Perhaps an error message. Or anything instead of showing a broken Google **Search** page.
Tried that one too. No dice. The subnet on the network is 192.168.1.1 so I assigned it 192.168.1.5.
@Spiff cannot connect to ANY website. I am able to ping things like google.com and 8.8.8.8. I will try your idea when I get home.
@Spiff Yes other computer get on the Internet with no trouble. All passing through the same gateway. They also get their DHCP leases from the same router. One is a laptop with Win 7, the other is an XP box.
@Ramhound What I am referring to is anything higher than ICMP protocol.
This resolves the issues when saving and filtering, but when calculating, I still have a "Calculating: (4 proccessor(s))" message at the bottom that takes ages to complete. Using "Calculate Now", I can at least click about and it stops the calculations, but that's not really better.
@Rudolph The type of router is a WRT54G-v6 with DD-WRT firmware. The DNS servers are set to OpenDNS, I have also used Google Public DNS.
@user319810 yes I understand that.but what i'm saying is,doesn't dropbox ALSO have an archive of all ur files/folders from before you did the reorganization. One reads that "By default, Dropbox saves a history of all deleted n earlier versions of files for 30 days"So let's say you had the Internet up to the middle of the 2nd of april.During the 2nd of april u lost Internet access.u reorganized things on dropbox on the 10th April.Dropbox had that. Then you got net access on the 13th.Sadly Dropbox got that. But maybe dropbox ALSO has a copy of how all your files were from the 10/11/12th Apr
I did not run MalwareBytes, because the machine has a paid AV (NOD32) on it. While I did not consider malware as possibility I will return to the possibility and try running MalwareBytes. If suspect viruses I usually do run that. I ran NOD32 sys rescue CD/USB in WinPE mode. That way NOD32 has 100% access to the FS nothing is locked or in use. In that mode the system was able to connect and download updates from the update server. NOD32 found nothing.
Unfortunately I don't have the option to disable but can Disable it as a playback device under the Sound menu which still maintains the bluetooth link I think. I think un-pairing is the only way I am going to be able to get this working.
Yes; You should update IE even if its been disabled. Yes; There are security concerns if you don't.
I have just updated my question - the other users who have downloaded the ISO file have managed to install the game on Windows.
You could in theory use a different network adapter. Looks like the one you have won't work like the way you want it do.
@steventnorris you could use conditional formatting to identify them?
That was suggested above, and conditional formatting works fine, but when I try to filter by the color, the same issues occur.
The 2013-12-19 version of one of your paragraphs cuts off in mid-sentence. "The audio defaults to 128 kBit/s again, but you can set q:a for variable bitrate, where values range from 0 to 500. 100 is default and higher means better. If"
the key takeaway is that this bug/behaviour was inserted back after 33 or 34.
perfect. Now I understand.
I have bought the game 10 years ago and lost the disk.
@Ramhound if you don't want to help him then don't help him.. I don't know how he should prove to you that he has the right to own the game. You could just give him the benefit of the doubt.
@Andrei You could Try some Windows apps for opening the ISO. Magic ISO is one but better a free one.. i'll try to think of others. Virtual Clonedrive is fantastic http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html
@barlop yeah, I was thinking about it but then hell there must be a way to do it on Mac :/
Just for the heck of it, if you are under Windows, run the corrupt file against TrID http://mark0.net/soft-trid-e.html and verify the file type, or use the `file` command against it if you on Linux. Does this only happen when you download zip files?
@barlop I didn't claim he did. But the benefit of the doubt on a game he download through BitTorrent instead of GOG or some other supported online retail channel.
"from **the** image" (that is, this exact image file)? Or some other download based on the same torrent file? In that case, have you verified that the ISO files are actually identical? (sha256sum will come in nicely.) My first thought when I saw "2002" was [bit rot](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_degradation#Decay_of_storage_media), but if you haven't actually been storing the file for this time, it might not be. That'd depend on if whatever metadata was used to verify it represents an accurate copy... What happens if you simply try to mount it on the host?
@Lqueryvg: He posted an answer (which should have been a comment or an edit), which was flagged and deleted.
Have you tried to change the range reference to a dynamic named range, or to just test if it helps, a regular named range?
Lol, I have completely forgot it - thanks a lot!
How many cells are being calculated in the workbook besides the column with COUNTIF? It could be that the rest of the workbook/worksheet is taking a really long time to calculate, and the COUNTIF isn't taking all that long. With manual calculation turned on, how long does the workbook take to calculate with and without the COUNTIF column?
Take a look here: http://www.admin-magazine.com/Articles/Linux-with-Windows-8 Help any?
@Andrei you forgot what? I mentioned Virtual Clonedrive in a comment 20min ago. Then you said there must be a way on a mac
Are you actually trying to fix this, or do you just want to guess at and discuss possible causes? What does the Event Log say about the reboots? What have you tried already to fix it?
@MichaelKjörling It does not mount on Mac, but works perfectly fine in Daemon Tools as the accepted answer suggested!
@barlop Sorry, yes, I gave up - my memory of running daemon tools for several years just came up and won it :-D
Actually, after looking at the HFS+, it seems pretty obvious to me, that data is the proprietary implementation of the HFS+ concept of iNodes. I will agree with you, and I already hypothesized this, the TM implementation is contained within the HFS+ structure, but I found various types of record structures in that data, not just what would be necessary for hard linked directories. I have more data to support this hypothesis, but not enough time to put it here. Anyone out there implement a filesystem with iNodes before? What type of control structures are contained within? Thanks in advance.
Oh yeah, that would negate the idea of a "root kit" in its negative sense - it is just that Apple left part of its proprietary implementation of the HFS+ exposed for us to think about.
If the customer is able to reproduce the problem, log file would be useful. Also what protocol is the customer using?
@Andrei daemon tools is not as good because nowadays it has some adware you have to untick
Man, you are jumping all over the place. Try doing some research. Did anything you read about the IE Zero-Day exploit mention these symptoms? No they did not. So that is a very unlikely cause. What is more probable is that a BSOD is occurring and the computer is set to automatically restart upon system failure. The key is to disable that option so that you can see the BSOD and troubleshoot it. Try starting in `Safe Mode with Command Prompt` and typing this: `wmic recoveros set AutoReboot = False`. Then reboot and see what happens.
@techie007, I'm not sure yet. I'll probably try to recover her files before anything else, but I am wondering about possible causes so that when I make the trip I can be prepared with appropriate materials. How can I get to the Event Log without being able to boot in any manner?
While this link may answer the question, it is better to include the essential parts of the answer here and provide the link for reference. Link-only answers can become invalid if the linked page changes.
@joeqwerty, I couldn't find anything on the exploit mentioning this, but exploits can cause any change--a botched hack can render a system unbootable like this. Anyway, your points highlighted an inconsistency in her story. She said she tried every option and got the same result, but I guess that can't include the command prompt option, otherwise it wouldn't have shown any logos. I'll go from there...sorry, this should probably be closed.
Asking for product recommendations (i.e. "what do you recommend for a Flash plugin") is off topic here. The problem below it would keep it on topic
What @CanadianLuke said - please expand your answer, and perhaps use something like Google Translate to translate at least part of it. Otherwise, consider deleting.
Understood. If she has the automatically restart option set that's why nothing is working for her. The system is restarting upon the BSOD, so no F8 options allow her to get past it. The trick is to turn off the automatically restart option so that you see the BSOD and can troubleshoot it, which hopefully you can do from `Safe Mode with Command Prompt`. If you can't then I'm out of ideas.
It's much more subtle in Andale Mono, but it's still using the curly versions. I've never used Sequel Pro but maybe that is converting it for you.
Thank you techie007, but I've already tried that. :(
I'd forgotten about `addprefix` -- I don't work in `make` land often enough to remember those tricks. Thanks (and thanks for the `TAB` reminder).
That's nice. You should submit a bug report. Since the current *released* version of Chrome doesn't have it, you shouldn't downvote me for saying updating to the newest *released* version of Chrome fixes it. And that holds true for V34 on Win7 and V33 on Ubuntu.
TrID correctly recognizes the file as a 7z. Everything I download gets corrupt, but 7z files are easy to check with 7zip's test function. If I download an exe file (e.g. Firefox Portable) twice and compare the 2 downloads, the lengths are equal but comp.exe finds about a dozen differing bytes. It seems that the 3rd bit (counting from MSB) differs in those bytes, judging from the files I've compared so far. Sometimes it's 1 when it should be 0, sometimes it's the other way around.
+1, just to clarify though there's no location to add pinned items for *all users*, but it can be added to the default profile so new user *start off* with them.
@BSchlinker: if it works, would you please up-vote / mark accepted. Thanks!
Are you using a language other than U.S.-English?
It looks like the driver is broken. My bet is that they intended to only allow you to enable WoL if that option was unchecked and got the logic backwards.
My Realtek NIC driver does the same thing (uncheck box one and the others go grey). Here's thread full of people with the same deal: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-networking/unable-to-use-wake-on-lan-unless-allow-this/cb53b8e8-1737-40b8-968d-af106ebff882
You need to configure your network to be bridged.
@ghostfly Volià
Thank you. Cannot get this to work though because the function COUNTIFS doesn't seem to exist in my version of LibreOffice (3.5).
In Windows 7 Home Premium it does, not sure about any other version. But on dual monitors, it defaults to the left monitor and disables the right.
Is there any way by which I can do it in One click... Coz Manually "Finding and Replacing" is a cumbersome task!
with cable? yes, tried that too, still doesn't help
Yes - 'Replace All'. See above in my answer :) ^^^
What if you right-click the windows taskbar, and go to Properties. Then in the Navigation tab, check "Show the apps view automatically", and then uncheck "search everywhere". This should let you quickly press the windows key, and search just your apps.
I failed to find the error, It runs in one machine and fails in another machine. Still couldnt figure out whats the problem.
You show read http://superuser.com/questions/311907/how-can-i-low-level-format-a-usb-drive
I think it's saying to add that line to the `_config.yml` file. I can see how that could be misinterpreted.
you have to look at the cpu specs and verify what the maximum temp is for your chip. my 12core is 58C i believe. I can get it to 55C+ with about 10 threads of prime or another cpu burnin test. In my case currently i cant use over 75% of max cpu if i want to keep my processor alive. I would never run max temp either. another thing Sapalajo didnt mention is that any flaws in the chip will likely be the first to be affected so you may have stability or other quarky issues because that 1 part of the chip couldent handle the heat.
If the drive is already mapped by gpo this may have issues. you may have to run some complex runas/cmd trickery to get a cmd prompt to work for the stated purpose. I dont have any of the cmd info with me but can provide if needed
@mtak Any clue? I have checked most of the messages and all of them seem to reveal the sender's/recipient's cell numbers. I can't also copy them here, the browser doesn't seem to understand some of these symbols as I pointed out earlier. The symbols above are from a message. They come before the actual message (from one I could read), and similar symbols come after the message itself then the cell numbers; all in the same line.
Yes you can if you have a Galaxy Note 3,the first phone to feature ugly new Micro USB 3.0 port.I don't think any other phone exists with this feature if does let me know.
Have you tried troubleshooting using the windows 8 recovery mode?
Use Linex OS to format your pen drive
A script can't "write" temporary files to /dev/null. (It's likely not a permissions issue: anyone can send data to /dev/null -- it's a bit bucket.) If it's sending data to /dev/null, then that data is obviously irrelevant to the correct working of the script (assuming the script works correctly). If fact, changing /dev/null on your system will likley break not only this script, but also other things on your system. Scripts are just text -- so, yes, you'll have to change the script in order to do what you want.
It ended up being my hard drive. I decided after this issue to move every thing into the cloud so I wont have to deal with 1 year old hard drives going bad :+1
thank your for reply ... but I using the word `script` Antonyms for a `plugin` !!!!
Internet Explorer is not a standalone piece of software like FireFox or Chrome. It is a part of the Windows OS. Which is why it is a massive headache as well as a security nightmare. You are right to not use it, but you cannot predict when Windows will decide a part of it must run whether you know it or not.
The usage grows extremely over time, this is shows that this is a leak. "By design" would be a allocation of for example 1GB and it stays the same level for ever. The pool leak is a common issue in Windows 8. I wrote a Guide in German and it it one of my most read guides, because a lot of users run into this issue daily.
yeah i can view the video with BS player . The problem is that i want to make sure that this "injected" frame is exist in the output video. is there any software that can decode it or view it frame by frame ? BTW , where i can see which codec i can use that will for sure keep the injected frame in the movie and wont compress them?
try this tool: http://www.easyuefi.com/index-us.html
Ubuntu Server 12.04
Naaah... Replace all will be hazardous... It replaces everything... Seems that I have to manually do for hundreds of test cases... I was looking a way to edit that caption.
But would SSD help with thrashing?
yes, because it can read /write data from a large file very fast (linear reads/writes are several hundreds of MB/s for SSDs).
Thank you. So, it was exactly along the lines of resulting behavior that I expected... And fills in the how.
I thought SSD writing is slow in SSD.
You're measuring 5V when there is *no load* on the PSU, and presumably this is supposed to be a +5V tap. With a load, the voltage *sags* down to 3.8V. Power supplies do tend to sag (a little) under load (as current is drawn), unless they are designed (and built) to be "stiff". But your supply has dropped past the 5% or 10% regulation specification.
From here it is fast, so it might be related to your location. Maybe you have some kind of firewall/DPI device in between which does have problems with `EPSV`. Try to make curl use `PASV` instead with `--disable-epsv`.
This was the best answer for me. I need to store a program's path to a variable and I did that with following: `PATH='type -p ffmpeg'` (replace single quotes with backtics). Thank you, Doug harris. I hope my example helps others, too :)
`ffplay` can do that, or VirtualDub, or MPEG-Streamclip, etc. And every codec will normally keep every frame as-is, unless you specify a different framerate during conversion or change from progressive to interlaced encoding.
not my Samsung SSD. I sometimes also need a lot of RAM and sometimes use 12GB on my 8GB laptop and because of the SSD I noticed no slowdown.
If your system is indeed thrashing, then it would better to solve/reduce the thrashing, than go looking for a faster storage device. Or is this a homework question?
Thanks magincandre of your insight. I just learned about SSD in my OS class and I would told that writing is slow SSD. It's good to know that is not always the case. :)
Just curiosity since I just learn about SSD and I what more information about it.
Or you could search for `Steps for Test Case` and replace it with `Steps for TC`. Then Replace All. That would be less hazardous.
Enable it: http://www.askvg.com/how-to-enable-group-policy-editor-gpedit-msc-in-windows-7-home-premium-home-basic-and-starter-editions/
i'm almost sure tthat the only solution is to transform your data so the "identifiers" get column names. You could do this automatically using a pivot table.
I think I will have to play around with this as I've noticed now there is a 'disconnect' option present.
@Pacerier Microsoft has also decided to release a update for Internet Explorer including a update for the Internet Explorer installed on Windows XP. This despite the official end of support.
OK, i will try this later, seems to be quite a good workaround
No i don´t want to remove complete commits, I wan´t to remove for example compiled source-code (*.dll and *.exe files) from all commits to shrink the size of my repository.
Thank you for your answer. Maybe my questions was misleading with that link. My question is what does Intel refer to as "Processor Family" in the context of a real processor?
Thanks I did know about this but was hoping to avoid it due to the silly limit.
Also SuperFetch can cause the same problem (very often). Go to Services (Win+R -> services.msc) and [disable](http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/disable-windows-7-superfetch) them.
@JoeHarper yep, strange things happen in the world of computers :)
hi yes, but I want to see this date in Outlook VBA before I detach it using VBA (not by hand)....
The registry doesn't need to be cleaned, and I wouldn't recommend using such "optimizers" anyway. Do you get the same issues if you create a new account?
The one deciding whether the implicit authentication is valid is the server. This has nothing to do with the client’s Windows version.
`9506 bad sectors were encountered during the format` = the USB drive is no longer reliable, and you should get a new one.
Yes yes, and here I was thinking you need help. My bad. Is this an Active Directory environment? Is there a user with the same name but different password on the `MAGAZYN` server? What happens if you use the "Guest" user on the `net use` command line?

Вам нужно указать архив (вот так он получает классы). Чтобы указать аспект «на класс», измените атрибут кода.

<!-- that is swjahd.class is your class; you still need to get that class. Jar files are how that is done. --> <applet archive="jar file" code="swjahd.class"
