Я не могу установить SP1 на Windows 7

Я пытаюсь установить SP1 в моей системе Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

You have got Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

It might depend on your Anti Virus and your Firewall which don't allow Windows Update to instal the Service Pack 1.

First up, download and run the SUR tool, which can fix problems that might prevent Windows updates from instaling. You can download the 'Windows 7 64-bit (x64)' here - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=20858.

It is a Windows Update Standalone Installer.

After installing it, you can try instaling the service pack 1. Follow these steps

  1. Turn off your Anti Virus.
  2. Turn off your Firewall.
  3. Open Windows Update.
  4. Instal the Service Pack 1.

Once you have installed it, re-enable your Anti Virus and your Firewall. Restart your computer and before the login page, you will need to wait about seven minutes given that the Service Pack 1 will be being configured.

To turn off your Firewall, follow these steps

  1. Click the Start button.
  2. Click on 'Control Panel'.
  3. Click on 'System and Security'.
  4. Click on 'Windows Firewall'.
  5. On the left panel click on 'Turn Windows Firewall on or off'.
  6. Click on 'Turn off Windows Firewall off (not recommended)' both on Private Networks and Public Networks.

You will see, afterwards, an icon at the bottom of the task bar coming up a message saying that your Firewall has been turned off. To turn it on, merely click on the icon within the task bar.

Do a Repair Reinstall.

Consider getting a copy of Windows 7 Service Pack 1 full installation (the whole copy of a Windows 7 installation files). It can be found around the Net fairly easily.

Then do a 'repair Install' over--that is run from within--the existing installation.

Repair Install is really good. It will keep all existing programs & settings & generally tidy up, and it will install service Pack 1. But--be careful here--when the newer install is run it will likely complain that the existing, without Service Pack 1 version is wrong and refuse to continue.

There are many Net sources that say it can't be done, but it can by going to the new Windows 7 install files and setting the Setup.exe to Compatibility Mode for "VISTA Service Pack 2".

I eventually got SP 1 to install (after several failed attempts through the Update Options that come with Windows 7). Yes, it would begin to install, but then, as above, fail. Btw, I had Windows 7 Premium edition on my computer, and didn't have to disable my Norton anti-virus.

The only way I could get SP 1 on to my computer was through the link below and followed those options - so delighted it worked:

  1. Go to this Microsoft site (DISM or System Readiness Tool) - the series of accompanying images here will explain and should help, too.

  2. Download the DISM appropriate for your OS (32, 64 etc...you'll find them about half way down the page for Win 7 SP1). Note, I have a slow download broadband, so it took ages, however, it eventually downloaded, and so glad it did.

  3. Also download the Microsoft Update Catalog in the above link (it's very small).

  4. Type in your SP 1 number in this Catalog options afterwards (for me it was KB976932, so I put in 976932).

  5. And from there you follow the instructions (as given in the link showing the images etc.,).

It worked for me, and I downloaded the Windows 7 SP 1 successfully (I needed it to update my Internet Explorer from IE 9.0 to IE 11.0, as IE 9 was no longer supported, and so giving total grief when trying to view content in other websites).

Hope it works?

John
