Usually when dealing with Adapters that are not directly supported, the best option I have used is first to install a program called Ndiswrapper which allows Linux to use Windows drivers for wireless card support.
After installing Ndiwrapper just Open the "Windows Wireless Drivers" service from the
System -> Administration menu:
Then locate a .inf file similar to the following image when you choose "Install new Driver"
After the installation you can simply choose what the device from your list of networks.
