Я установил версию jre 1.8.0_51 на 64-битную Windows 7. Через некоторое время после установки я больше не мог запускать java-программы, по-видимому, из-за того, что установка исчезла. Если я запускаю «java -version» в командной строке, то java не распознается. Если я переустановлю Java, он снова будет работать некоторое время, и после этого он больше не распознается. Try to remove all java from the computer, restart the system and then clean out the Java folders and delete all Java registry entries.

Be aware that playing around in the registry can lead to a complete failure of windows. Make a backup first!
