HP LaserJet 4L не распознается при использовании HPLIP в Ubuntu 32 бит

Я не могу установить Laserjet 4L с помощью hp-setup на Ubuntu 10.04 32 bit.

Я установил все необходимые компоненты с http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/install/manual/distros/ubuntu.html и переустановил пакет 'hplip' и убедился, что драйвер 'ppdev' загружен и находится в моем BIOS параллельный порт установлен на ECP (фактически EPP + ECP, но это единственный вариант с ECP в нем), но я не могу получить команду hp-setup или hp-probe для распознавания моего принтера.

IIRC это делает, да. Я действительно думаю, что может быть что-то не так с кабелем, который я использовал, но у меня не было времени, чтобы проверить это. Я хотел использовать hplip, чтобы поделиться им по сети и заставить другие машины автоматически загружать соответствующие драйверы через Samba или что-то еще для OS X. Zsub 13 лет назад 0
