OS X: Calendars.app > Removing un-removable calendars?
I have a couple calendars in Calendar.app that I don't want in the Calendars list (they're just extra clutter). These particular ones can't be deleted through the app though, so I'm hoping someone might know a way to do it via an under-the-hood method, perhaps using the .plist files for these calendars, Terminal, or something else? (I have attempted to edit the Info.plist files for the calendars in ~/Library/Calendars, but the edits won't stick.)
One is a Family Sharing calendar. We already have a shared Family calendar, and signing up for Family Sharing just created an unnecessary second one that we can't get rid of.
The other is the default/home calendar from my Google account that I sync. (I sync some shared calendars from my school Google account for my job at my college.) I only need the shared calendars, but I don't use the Home default calendar, and it is not removable. Strangely enough, it's also the only Calendar I can't reorder it in the list. It's stuck at the top.
