Делает ли разделение библиотек iTunes и iPhoto моим Mac быстрее?

iMac (начало 2009 г.)

с 

Intel Core 2 Duo 2,66 ГГц  4 ГБ 1067 МГц DDR3  Жесткий диск Serial ATA 640 ГБ 7200 об / мин

Если я создаю раздел для библиотеки iTunes и еще один для библиотеки iPhoto (они довольно тяжелые), как вы думаете, это ускоряет мой Mac или нет? И, если возможно, вы можете кратко объяснить, почему?

Only at the moment you start iTunes and iPhoto at the same time. And only if they're on separate disks. iTunes does not read a lot of data from the library when it's running, music does not use that much bandwidth. iPhoto reads the library on start but more memory would be a better choice.
