Я не знаю точно, что, если что-то означает «проверено», но могу подтвердить, что это не значит, что диск в порядке. Я видел несколько явно неисправных дисков, которые показывали «проверенный» статус, в том числе тот, который при работе звучал беспорядочно, как кофемолка.
